	B.	Houston participation is through HLSR Calf Scramble website.
	C.	SALE scrambles for Area V are February ___ & ___.
	D.	SALE scramble rules, applications & dates can be downloaded from www.sarodeo.com and choosing "livestock."
	E.	Star forms will be mailed to you.

GREENHAND LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

	A.	Date: September 17, 2011; Sign in 8 AM; Start 9 AM
	B.	Place: Krum Middle School
	C.	Cost: $20.00 – Bring payment (no personal checks) to camp.
	D.	Reservations: Call or email Sandy Scheu with number of participants and t-shirt sizes by Thurs., September 9, 2011. You will need to pay for the number you reserve!
	E.	Forms: Bring 2 forms filled out and signed to participate (Area V Health History & Area V Medical Release). Download forms and make copies as needed.

OFFICER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES

	A.	Dates: Conference A: June 11-12, 2012 & Conference B: June 18-19, 2012
	B.	Time: Check in at 8 AM, Camp begins at 9 AM, Camp will end at 5 PM
	C.	Place: Collin County Adventure Camp
	D.	Cost: $60.00 per person (includes teachers, teacher’s children, spouses, etc.)
	E.	Registration: Registration form & full payment is to be POSTMARKED May 29, 2012 to: Area V FFA, % Sandy Scheu, 9208 FM 17, Grand Saline, TX 75140.
	F.	Payment: School checks, money orders or cashiers checks only. No personal checks!!
	G.	Participation: 1) Area Officers are required to be at both conferences. 2) District Officers are required to attend one of the two conferences, but cannot attend both. 3) Chapter Officers can attend either conference.
	H.	Number of participants: If a chapter is bringing more than 2 officers, advisor must stay to help chaperone.
	I.	Rules: Participants must be present for the total conference and abide by all camp rules.
	J.	Forms: Bring with you (DO NOT MAIL!) 3 forms filled out and signed to participate (Adventure Camp Hold Harmless, Area V Health History & Area V Medical Release). Advisors must complete the Adventure Camp Hold Harmless Form. Download forms and make copies as needed.
	K.	Website for camp: www.collincountyadventurecamp.org Driving directions and map are on the website.
	L.	What to bring: personal toiletries, towel/washcloth, hand towel, sleeping bag or one set of twin sheets, blanket, pillow and pillow case.
